Why should we take engagement photos?

I just came across a very good article about why to do an engagement session. If any potential brides are reading this, this is a great read. I have heard from many of my brides that once they saw and loved their engagement photos, it put their mind at ease about photography the day of the wedding. I can't stress enough how important it is to feel comfortable and trust your photographer. If you are uncomfortable, it will definitely show in your photographs. An engagement session is also a great way to be able to do creative shots. There isn't always time during the wedding day or you may feel uncomfortable about smudging your make-up or getting your hair out of place.
