Kristen and Michael

I was so excited when Kristen booked me! She told me about her wedding and her love for vintage and I just knew it was meant to be! I had to take her to one of my favorite sites for their engagement session and I'm so happy we shot there, I wish I had photos here with my husband!

She is a big fan of my green couch so I brought it along.

Can't wait for your wedding in September!

Lovely.

I am so in love with this J. Crew wedding gown! It makes me want to get married again, I would totally wear the blush colored one! Maybe one of my brides will buy it and I can photograph it! It's only $3,000. :)

Brayden- Como Park

This is what Brayden looked like last time I saw him:
Imagine my surprise when he ran up to me kicking a soccer ball at Como Park! Now he's 3 and he brought along his dog Belle for his 3 year photos. Brayden's mom loves my chairs so I brought one along.

I love these two:
Look at Belle popping up over the rock wall!

LOVE this!
Great to see you again Brayden!

Kimberly- studio and outdoor Lonsdale

Kimberly was in need of some updated head shots for her portfolio so I was happy to help! I was only the 2nd female photographer she's ever worked with so I was happy to hear that she had a good time with me and loved her photos.

Jacob and Elle- on location New Prague session

Jacob is big brother to 6 month old Elle and what a big brother he is!
I love how Elle is checking him out.

Hello beautiful!

Dad is an amazing artist and their house is filled with wonderfully painted walls!

Avery and Ben- outdoor New Prague session

Avery and Ben did such a great job during their session! We got rained out during our first attempt but the second time was a charm.

Stay tuned for a blog-o-rama... I'm just getting caught up!

Be bold.

I've been wanting to scope out a couple of locations that I've driven by so Linnea, my assistant, modeled for me. She is so damn cute. I am so glad she contacted me for a job last summer because I now I don't know what I would do without her! I am really going to miss her when she goes away to college this summer! Which reminds me, I will need to start looking for her replacement soon. :(

We texted last night to set up the shoot today and when she asked me what she should wear, I said, "Be bold." She totally rocked it out and I am super in love with the results! I just wanted to point out how important clothing is for photos and also show how what an inspiration it is for finding locations and how it affects the general feel of the photo. Hmmm... maybe I will have to start hiring her to style my shoots?

This lighting was SO tasty. I could have shot here until the sun went down but Linnea was getting eaten alive by bugs! These kind of remind me of a french countryside.
