Happy Halloween!

I caught up on a bit of blogging but that doesn't even put a dent in the other 13 sessions I've shot in the past week and a half! This has definitely been the busiest month in business history!

I'm headed up to Duluth to shoot a Halloween wedding and I'm so excited! For one, it's a wedding in Duluth, one of my favorite Minnesota cities and two, I'm bringing my family along and we're staying an extra night for a little getaway. In case you try to contact me this weekend, I'll be away but returning emails and VM's on Monday.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and I'll cross my fingers for good weather for all of your little trick-or-treaters! I usually do a big Halloween shoot with my boys but since we're not going to be in town this weekend, Halloween was played down this year. Here are some photos of Aidan in his costume.

Aidan wanted me to capture him on the trampoline so he could pretend he was "jumping out of the water."

I showed him these photos and this was his favorite jump:

Heart on Your Wrist

If you're looking for a unique gift idea, check out Heart on Your Wrist. I bought a necklace for a friend of mine a few years ago and was reminded of it. I am so excited to order myself a mommy necklace once this little guy is born! There are a ton of new products since I ordered from them a few years ago. Check it out!

Maternity shoot | by Owen and Aidan

Life is continually flying by and I really want to document this pregnancy as much as I can, unlike my others. At first it seemed to go so slowly, but I am already 6 months this week! I thought it would be a cute idea to take the boys out shooting and have them take photos of me and my belly from their perspective. I armed them each with a camera and a 50mm lens and we were on our way!

I love Owen's stance here- he was really getting into it!

I definitely want to do more of these as my belly continues to grow! We had so much fun!

btw- I am still shooting like crazy and frantically trying to catch up. We've had nothing but rotten weather and my schedule is crazy packed with make-up sessions. I think sometime in December life will slow down! I can't wait!

I broke down and decided to find out the gender of the baby at my ultrasound today. I actually don't think there was any way around it, as the technician was looking around I caught a glimpse of it. I know you're dying to know so without further ado...

It's a...
Yep, there's his parts! God has blessed me with two wonderful boys and now we welcome another!

The baby was being so cooperative and we got some awesome shots. I saw him kick, then felt it, he looked at us, he took a few breaths in and out and was so cooperative! The tech even said she was amazed at what good shots she was getting and said that doesn't normally happen. He is definitely my son! He's already cooperating for photos even in utero! :)

I've always loved baby feet shots, I can't wait to kiss this little foot!

I can't wait to meet this little guy! We're all very excited! My mom is especially excited, she said now I'll have "The Three Musketeers!"
