I've been blessed to be doing photography since 2005. I started with children and families and branched off into weddings in 2006 by assisting some of the best professionals in the Twin Cities. I love to continue my education and feel that there is always room to grow and improve my business! I recently attended the Simplicity Photography workshop in Salt Lake City to learn from Angie Monson who is one of the best child photographers in the country. My passion lies with styled kids shoots, senior girls sessions, and vintage/country inspired weddings.

First and foremost, my family means everything to me. During the busy season I don't get to see much of them but I treasure each and every moment that I do. I have three boys, Owen, Aidan, and Oliver that keep me on my toes and I love being the only girl in the house! Everyone takes great care of me.

Here are some random facts that make me, me.

I am a shopoholic! Shopping has always been something that my mother and I did together back when I was a child and I very much carried the love for it into adulthood. My favorite purchases? Clothing for my boys and a close second, antiques.

I love to travel. I don't get to do it very often because it's more challenging when you have children but a few of my favorite trips have been Ireland, Charleston, Park City, UT and southern California. On my list- Vermont or Maine in the fall, anywhere in Europe, and I am always game for anywhere tropical! My mission is to get my boys out to see the ocean for their first time sometime in 2012.

I love to be thoughtful. Thoughtfulness is a rare trait in my opinion. There's nothing more rewarding than to make someone's day by dropping off their favorite homemade treat, or surprising someone with that perfect gift that they've been dreaming of. Ellen DeGeneres is my favorite and I love the segments on her show of her thoughtfulness. They always brings me to tears!

When I have a favorite current song, I can listen to it 50 times in a row. I drive my husband and kids nuts!

I'm pretty sure I could live off of buttered fresh baked rolls.

I have three best friends that are very different and live in very different parts of the country. I don't know what I would do without them.

I like to consider myself a great success story knowing that my passion for my kids, beauty, and life itself led me to where I am today. I look forward to our paths crossing, whether it be running into you on my blog, facebook, or getting to work with you in person! Thanks for stopping by!
