I'm back!

Where do I even start?! I feel like I've fallen off the face of the Earth. As you can imagine, I've got a huge amount of catching up to do. For now, here is one sweet little photo of Beatrice... new little sister to Henry.

I've got a bunch to blog about... all in due time! There is so much going on... how would we ever know what was going with each other without blogs?! Isn't that sad?

I also have exciting news that I am hoping to announce this week... for now you'll just have to wait! :P I hope everyone is enjoying their summer (what little summer is left!). I can't believe Owen will be starting first grade soon and Aidan will be starting preschool. I will be home alone soon! :(

I feel like I finally have some personal things planned. I have the next two weekends off and this weekend my BFF from Indiana is driving up so that I can shoot some maternity photos of her. We're also going to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum on Sunday. My boys have been waiting all summer to see it! Next weekend we have plans to go camping with some friends. In between the two weekends I'll be celebrating my 31st birthday! My birthday is August 5th... Woo-hoo! LEO's RULE! Then it will be time for the State Fair and then back to school! AUUUUUGH!

Lots more shoots to come so stay tuned!

Amber and Dennis

Amber and Dennis were a 2007 OWP bride and groom and have since been some of my biggest supporters! Amber found me ages ago on craigslist when I was in the beginning stages of my wedding photography. She "had a good feeling" about me and took a chance on me and I'm so glad that she did!

This shoot was a collaboration between Amber and I. After seeing Wedding Crashers, I fell in love with the scene where Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams ride vintage bikes down through the country down to the beach. I contacted Amber back in April and told her my vision and she happily agreed! She found vintage bikes and scouted out the perfect location which is basically in the middle of nowhere just outside of Hudson, WI. Dennis even willingly (or not?) tagged along and was such a good sport. We set the date way ahead to July and I honestly can't believe it came up so quickly!

Here are some of my favorite images- A&D really were great sports and I thank them for their all-around awesomeness!

I can seriously hear the Little House on the Prairie music in my head when I look at these next two...

Ha- now you have it stuck in your head too! :)

Jack and Joey

Jack and Joey are some of my new regulars that I've had the pleasure of photographing a few times recently. Jack is turning 4 and Joey is the perfect 9 months old. Is there anything cuter than a naky baby?! Seriously! Hello blue eyes!

Joey has this thing where his sticks his right fist out...

This has to be the cutest thing EVER...

Two more sessions to blog! Coming soon... Amber & Dennis and newborn Beatrice!

Jack and Charlotte- Urban

Jack and Charlotte are a couple of my regulars and we decided to do more of an urban session since they're so cool! I love these sessions! Anything goes... antique chairs in alleys, modern and colorful clothing, feather boas, and not mention the fun hats! The kids did so well! Although at times it took a reminder of an ice cream reward, they pretty much did whatever I wanted them to. Do you love these as much as I do?!

Brendon and Colin

Brendon is a big brother! Colin was born on July 2nd. Claudette is a Filipino friend of my sister and coincidentally, Brendon and my niece Sophia look like they could be brother and sister and are only a month apart. I'm so happy for their new addition and the family is doing well.

Look at those cheeks!
