Looking for something to do on Saturday? September 15th marks the annual Dozinky Festival in New Prague. It's a lot of fun for kids, they shut down Main Street have a big parade at noon, then the street remains closed and there is a mini-State Fair type celebration complete with a wide variety of street vendors and fried foods. This year should be a lot more fun because usually it's so hot and it's hard to find a place to cool off. The parade is fun for kids and they have lots of random giveaways of candy and trinkets. There's also a small petting zoo and pony and train rides.
If you're looking for something to do, come on down! I'm also excited this year because my studio is right on Main Street and I'm hoping to get some good exposure. It will also come in handy for using the bathroom or having a place to take a break from all of the walking! If you plan on coming down, let me know and I'll give you an official 2 minute tour of the studio! ;)
I'm going to enjoy a relaxing day off. It's my only weekend day off until November 10th!
