Construction

The city is going to be tearing up my street shortly. Last summer, they tore up the street the next block over and it was a huge pain because the residents had to park and get their mail from a temporary mailbox site a block away. A portion of our yard and driveway will also be torn out and replaced when the project is done. I'm not looking forward to it because everyday life will be chaotic for the rest of the year, right up until winter. Not to mention the loud noise from all of the machinery. Grrrr...
