Kayo and Scott

What an amazing wedding! Kayo is a graphic designer and I LOVE when my brides are artists because it definitely shows through all of their planning. No detail was overlooked and she couldn't have had more amazing venues. The ceremony was outdoors at the Lake Harriet Rose Gardens. Everything was in bloom and it started out to be the most beautiful day. Then, right before the ceremony began, it started to drizzle. Thankfully it didn't downpour and Kayo and Scott were troopers about it all. The reception was at the Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis. It was my first time shooting there and I am so in love! It was so awesome- I walked into the room and was immediately overstimulated with so much to shoot! I couldn't keep up with my excitement! Kayo and Scott didn't have a wedding party but here is Kayo with "her girls."

As their friend spoke about how "nothing could rain on their day," it started to rain.
