Amy and Tom

Amy and Tom were married on June 7, 2008. Their ceremony took place at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis. It was my first Greek Orthodox ceremony and it was so beautiful and interesting! Their reception took place at my new favorite location, the Carlson Towers Rotunda. The weather held up although it threatened rain all day. The reception site was so fabulous, there was an amazing outdoor pavilion that overlooked a pond so guests had plenty of room to sprawl outdoors and enjoy the weather. Amy and Tom had me for 10 1/2 hours which was my longest wedding to date so I had thousands of pictures to go through. Here are my favorites:

Look at those eyelashes!

Do you notice anything different between the 4th and 5th photo? The groom decided that half an hour before the ceremony would be a great time to go get his hair cut!

Amy was going back and forth on whether or not she should see Tom before the ceremony. I told her pictures would of course be easier if they saw each other beforehand but if seeing him for the first time walking down the aisle is what she always envisioned, then she just had to do it that way. She was so happy that she waited!

It was a very emotional moment...

Tom's YaYa (Greek for Grandmother), doesn't she look fabulous?

Amy and Tom are enjoying their honeymoon in Tahiti. Believe it or not, Amy has NEVER seen the ocean- not even anywhere in the United States so Tom thought what better place to see the ocean for the first time than Tahiti?! I'm so jealous! Congratulations!
