It's as easy as riding a bike...

Someone is a little excited about his new bike helmet!

Aidan tried riding his bike today with no training wheels! He is VERY driven to do it and not even a skinned knee would stop him, he climbed right back on wanted to take off again! He did great for his first time, he rode about 30 feet (right before the skinned knee) but can't quite get the balance thing down yet. I saw him and it was like watching my oldest get on the bus for the first time! Super emotional! Now my other one who is almost two years older... super cautious and didn't want me to let go for even a second. Can't wait for summer!

btw- I think we managed to pry the helmet off of his head at about 8:30 tonight. He wore it out of the store and even grocery shopping later in the day. I like to think he gets his passion from me. :)

haha, that's so funny...if your kids were into cowboy boots I could totally see you letting them wear those out in shorts...or if you had a little girl she would be walking around the grocery in her tutu and plastic high heals with a jeweled crown...your kids are lucky to have a free- spirited mom who allows them to exhibit their creative passions!
