Gloria and Shane

I am so grateful to Mother Nature for holding off the rain on Saturday! Gloria and Shane ended up with a beautiful overcast, slightly cool day instead of an 80% chance of rain like the forecast said.

The day was celebrated at the Church of the Assumption in downtown St. Paul. This is the oldest existing church in St. Paul. I actually found a photo of it online in 1886. It's so fascinating to see how the church itself looks unchanged but to think that the church's surroundings are now downtown St. Paul vs. dirt and a few houses.

The wedding day was very intimate and included only 25 of their closest relatives and friends. Gloria and Shane chose not to see each other before the ceremony and the moment was perfect. I was truly honored to be a part of their day.

Absolutely breathtaking.

The reception site was just a block away from the park that Gloria grew up playing at as a child.

Congratulations G&S!

I had to post this... this group of people were attracting all sorts of attention. At first we thought they might be blind walking together with a rope but then we realized they had their sight so the mystery remains!
