Dozinky Festival

I wanted to announce an upcoming event in New Prague on September 20th. Every year New Prague celebrates their Czech and German heritage during Dozinky (doe-shink'-key) days, a Fall Harvest Festival. Main Street shuts down, there is a parade, and then afterwards, the street is lined with vendors. If you have kids, bring a pail or bag because the parade floats throw out a bunch of candy and other goodies. There is also a petting zoo, pony rides, and free train rides.

The Main Artery will also be open so feel free to pop in and see my studio!

If you're into classic cars, there is a classic car cruise on Friday the 19th at 6:30 pm followed by an outdoor street dance. The street vendors are open from 10 am- 5 pm on September 20th. The parade starts at noon and runs about 45 minutes or so.

Grand Opening update...

I just wanted to give a little update on the grand opening this weekend since I've gotten a few inquiries for more information.

I will only be there on Friday, June 27th from noon- 7 pm. I won't be there Saturday because I have a wedding. I will be doing mini portrait sessions on Friday while I'm there. There is no charge and I'll be uploading the photos to a gallery for viewing. The photos will also be available for purchase directly from the gallery.

The Main Artery Grand Opening!

The Main Artery is having their grand opening on Friday and Saturday, June 27th and 28th. I will be offering FREE mini portrait sessions on Friday June 27th. Feel free to drop in and say hi!

themainartery.com is also in the works and should go live soon. I'll keep you posted on that. The store is doing well and we're getting a lot of great feedback about it from our clients. The exposure has been great for me, not to mention it's just such a cool space! Every time I go in there to pick something up or drop something off, I usually just end up hanging out. You should come by and check it out!
