2010 Holiday Cards!

I know all of my clients have been on pins and needles waiting for their photos. I'm still working at them as fast as I can. I have 29 sessions and 2 weddings from October to get through so keep that in mind! Eeek, just saying those numbers makes me want to hyperventilate. :) I'm going to get right back at it but wanted to finally post the new holiday cards designs since I just got them purchased and designed.

There is one more design that I have available, but it is the template that I am using for my family's card so I don't want to post it here and ruin the surprise for everyone before they have a chance to get it in the mail. If you're interested, you can contact me and I will email you the design. It is a 5x5 tri-fold card and will run $95/set of 25.

You may notice the card prices are a bit higher than in years past. Folded cards cost more to print but also have the ability to feature more of your family photos! Just think of the impact they will make in comparison to the traditional glossy photo greeting cards from the chain stores. I broke it down to price per card so if you think in terms of gifting 5x7's of multiple photos, the prices can't be beat! In case you needed help justifying it. :)

I still have 5x7 flat cards available from year's past. Just scroll to the bottom of my blog and search "holiday cards" to see previous posts. Prices run $50/set of 25 w/envelopes.

I will post an ordering form soon.

It's not too late!

For those of you that have your Christmas cards ordered and even sent out... I applaud you! I wasn't quite on the ball this year. It's quite horrible actually, we don't have our tree up yet, no cards sent out, and definitely no shopping accomplished either! I think I am in denial that Christmas is 2 weeks away!

For those of you that are like me... it's not too late to order Christmas cards! I've gotten a few recent inquiries so I thought I would post this. Just follow the instructions in this link. The turnaround time is roughly 3-4 days upon receipt of payment, so there's still time! I actually just shot the photos for my card yesterday and stayed up late designing them.

I always get tempted to post them here early, but you'll have to wait until I get my cards sent out to see them! Here was our card from last year. I loved it and it was hard to top it but I think it turned out cute!

Happy Holidays!

Holiday Cards!

I finally have the pleasure of announcing my 2008 holiday card designs! I've been searching and searching for the perfect designs and I finally found them! The photos do not do them justice! These cards are rich with texture, warmth, and exude style!

To order holiday cards:

1. Choose a template from the following collection.
2. Print an order form and mail it back to me along with your payment.
3. You will receive a soft copy proof of your card via email.
4. Once approved, the cards will be ordered and shipped to your home!

There are two tiers for pricing:

1. $25 design fee. You will receive a high resolution digital file which you are responsible for printing on your own. You would also be responsible for purchasing envelopes. Keep in mind that the majority of these designs are 5x7 which can get pricey to print out yourself as well as the cost of purchasing A7 envelopes.

2. $40/set of 25 cards. I will design, order, and ship the cards to your home. The envelopes are included and you also get to choose from 4 press-printed papers. These cards are not "photo" cards but instead like high quality greeting cards with a variety of finishes and texture.

I worked hard to make things as seamless as possible, but as always, if there are any additional questions please email me. Please write any additional notes on your order form.

The following templates are the series I purchased last year. They are all 5x7 and only one-sided.

FYI- I have added order form links under my contact information at the top of my blog. There is a link to my holiday card order form as well as my CD package order form.

Keeping up with tradition- I am giving away one free studio session in the month of February to one lucky blog reader! Mail me your personal holiday card and I will draw one lucky participant to receive a free studio session to be shot in the month of February. This is not limited to a family session, couples and individuals also qualify.

My studio mailing address is:

105 E. Main Street
New Prague, MN 56071

I just love receiving your cards and proudly displaying them at my studio! :)

a few holiday card designs...

I am currently looking into new holiday card templates but here are a few from the set I purchased last year. I wish I had the time to experiment and design some of my own... maybe I'll get around to it yet!

I will have an entire card ordering post with complete instructions once I finalize my templates for the year.
