Vintage Papers | Design

Just a reminder, I've got these awesome vintage papers and frames available for order. A recent client order... she has an antique frame she is going to use.

My Little Brother | by Owen Wagner

Today, Owen's class had a writing celebration. We got to go to his class and he read us the books he's been working so hard on. This was my favorite and it took everything I had to hold back my tears while reading it. I am so incredibly proud of him and amazed at the fact that he is going into 3rd grade and writing books! My husband was holding Oliver at the time and said, "Just think, next thing you know he'll be in second grade and we'll be going to his classroom." That put me over the edge and I had to go to the restroom to wipe my eyes.

I just love that this is about the birth of Oliver from his perspective. I asked him if I could keep it and put it in Oliver's baby book. Oh, I asked him why I had such crazy looking hair and he said, "Sorry about that."

Hug your children tight! xoxo

Megan and Olive | Mother & Daughter

I wish I had photos like this with each of my babies. Something to treasure forever.

Chowgirls | Featured Photographer

To my surprise, I found myself featured on Chowgirls website as a featured photographer. What an honor, these girls are great! I first met them at Jen and Brian's wedding two years ago. They introduced me to one of my favorite recipes. Ginger Scented Pecans... try them around the holidays, they're delish!

Olive and Oliver | Part Deux

The babies meet again! Here they are at 3 1/2 months old.
In addition to our visiting, Megan and I also did a quick photo swap. When I say quick, it was photos in between fussy babies. We are both always the ones taking the photos so any photos that I am actually in I do cherish.
There are still spots open in my mommy/jewelry event! If you're tired of never being in any photos, this is the perfect opportunity for you! btw, if you have sons instead of daughters like I do, you're still welcome. They just won't get styled in any jewelry. :)

Guess who???

It's me, Oliver! I thought this was way too funny not to post. Just in case you think I torture my poor little baby, this was all Aidan! We got these "disguises" as part of treat bag giveaways for Owen's birthday party. I suddenly hear this huge belly laughter and Aidan was literally rolling on the floor laughing. When I looked, this is what I saw... of course then we were all on the floor laughing and poor Oliver didn't know what was going on. Ahhhh... never a dull moment at my house! :)

Oliver and I | LOVE

Love is an amazing thing. After you have your first child, you think you can't possibly love anyone more. By the time you have your third, it's so much different. You're no longer a rookie parent who needs to refer to a textbook. You're not wishing their life away with such statements as, "I can't wait until he sits up" or "I can't wait until he sleeps through the night." It's a matter of savoring every moment knowing that in the blink of an eye, you will be sending him off to Kindergarten.

Just when I think I couldn't possibly love my other boys more, this little guy comes into my life. My heart is bursting!

I am in love.

I want to thank my awesomely fabulous assistant Linnea for capturing these for me.
These were taken almost 2 years ago! She contacted me that summer looking for work, as many other high school students did. Something about her email drew me in, I didn't even set up a meeting with anyone else. After talking for a few minutes I knew I had to hire her! Isn't that weird how some people's paths were just destined to cross? She was once an employee, now I am proud to call her a friend. I also wish her well as she continues her education in art, this time in California! I am so proud of her for following her dreams, and not settling for anything less.

Emily and Louie | Sister and Brother

I've been photographing these two for years. That sounds weird to say since they're still so little! We had a great session! In my best Forrest Gump voice, kids are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. This is very true, but these two were cracking me up from the start!

Drew and Kate | Brother and Sister

It was so great seeing these two again. Last time I saw Kate she was a newborn and look at her now! Drew took some time to warm up so by the end of the session when his mom was holding him was when he decided to bring out his smiles. :)

Marisa | 2 years

I recently shot my cousin's little girl to celebrate her turning two earlier this month. I usually only see them during Christmas Eve so it was nice to be able to hang out with them in May.

Oliver | 3 months

I know I am biased but these may be the cutest pictures I have ever seen. :)
Oh my goodness... this takes my breath away!

For anyone wondering, I bought this aviator set at this Etsy shop.
