I wanted to announce an upcoming event in New Prague on
September 20th. Every year New Prague celebrates their Czech and German heritage during
Dozinky (doe-shink'-key) days, a Fall Harvest Festival. Main Street shuts down, there is a parade, and then afterwards, the street is lined with vendors. If you have kids, bring a pail or bag because the parade floats throw out a bunch of candy and other goodies. There is also a petting zoo, pony rides, and free train rides.
The Main Artery will also be open so feel free to pop in and see my studio!

If you're into classic cars, there is a classic car cruise on Friday the 19th at 6:30 pm followed by an outdoor street dance. The street vendors are open from 10 am- 5 pm on September 20th. The parade starts at noon and runs about 45 minutes or so.
Hope to see you there!
