OWP 2010 Seniors | Design

I definitely discovered my love of shooting seniors last year! I had such a great time working with and getting to know these people. I just wrapped my big project of designing all of their graduation party announcements. Here are some of my favorites:

Owen | First Communion

Owen's First Communion last weekend was bittersweet. I couldn't be more proud of him but at the same time, he's just growing up that much faster!

I love this photo of him. I had to tell him to not smile otherwise he does the big "cheeeese" smile that older kids do. He's sporting his new "messy" hairstyle that I love. I had it spiked a little bit more but he didn't like it. Gone are the days of having any control of what he looks like. He's a big boy now with a mind of his own. I can't believe he's going to be EIGHT later this month!

Mandi and Johnny | Married

Mandi is my friend Tasha's little sister and she just got married! The wedding was a collaboration between Melissa Louise and I and believe me, it was an honor to shoot with her! She is so amazing and I can't wait to see her images.

By far the largest wedding party I have shot, 11 attendants each!


The ceremony took place at the church I attend in New Prague, and my father-in-law Deacon Bob married them!

Spring Mini-Sessions!

May is approaching and I'm officially back! To get back in the swing of things, I'm offering a half day of mini-sessions at a special rate.

When: Saturday, May 15th
Where: my studio in Lonsdale (hoping for outdoors but indoors as a back-up plan)
Times available:
10:00 am
10:30 am
11:00 am
11:30 am
12:30 pm
1:00 pm

Cost: There are two options, depending on the number of images you wish to receive.

Option 1: $150 | 5 high-res images on CD
Option 2: $200 | 10 high-res images on CD

I am starting out with only 6 sessions available but may add a couple more afternoon slots depending on interest. $50 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking. Session types included are babies, kids, family, maternity, or head shots.

Keep in mind, I have no June weekend availability but will be taking 1-2 sessions a week during the weekdays. July, August, and September will be busy with senior sessions so plan accordingly!

I have never made one of these collages for myself so this was exciting. Oliver is so fun these days, I just have to say hi to him and he gives me a big smile!
I love this picture so much. It makes me want to kiss the screen looking at it. :)


I had to post this one... by the end of the shoot, he had enough and this reminds me of a celebrity shoo-ing off the paparazzi. lol

I've got babies on the brain lately! Look at these cute little rompers I found. I love the colors! You will be seeing Oliver in these soon!

Infant Karate Pants | American Apparel

Love these! I love how they're fitted around the legs and flared at the bottom. Most baby pants are so baggy that cute and chubby little thighs drown in them. Plus... look at all the pretty colors!

Oliver | 2 months old!

Have you seen enough photos of the babe yet? I haven't! :) I'm just proud of myself for remembering to take them at all of his milestones.
