Ellery and Regan

OMG- Jennifer and Erik... you are going to DIE once you scroll down! I am so ecstatic with the photos we were able to capture. These little girls were so cute and *good*... then you take the awesome location.... factor in the perfect lighting and you get some of my favorite kids photos I've ever shot! I cannot wait to update my website!

Awesome flare...

This next series.... I could just die... if these were my kids, I'd have these as huge canvases in every room of my house!

Thanks lollya for the referral! :)

a few holiday card designs...

I am currently looking into new holiday card templates but here are a few from the set I purchased last year. I wish I had the time to experiment and design some of my own... maybe I'll get around to it yet!

I will have an entire card ordering post with complete instructions once I finalize my templates for the year.

Maegen and Josh

This post is a long time coming! Maegen and Josh were married on September 13th. The weather that day happened to be rainy pretty much the majority of the day! :( We had plans to do outdoor photos but Mother Nature had other plans for us! We did what we could in the church, but it was kind of a bummer thinking what "could have been." Maegen contacted me after the wedding about the possibility of a reshoot with her and Josh. I, of course, happily obliged! We went down to the lake she originally intended to do photos and got a beautiful day. The day we were actually supposed to shoot them, we got rained out as well, but luckily we were able to make it work the following day. Maegen also reminded me that our engagement photos we shot a year ago got rained out the first day we scheduled them! Well, they say rain is a sign of good luck! :)

The following photos are from the "make-up session" we just shot last week. I'm so glad we decided to do these! I can honestly say her life wouldn't be the same without these photos! Here's just a few of the hundreds we shot this day.
I love, love, love this!

Congrats M&J! Have fun on your honeymoon this week!

Wagner family photos

My friend Gina and I are doing a photo swap next week so we're shooting each others families for Christmas cards. I just came up with this fun idea for my family's photos and I'm so excited!

Here is a little teaser:

Hmmm... what on Earth could I be up to? You'll have to wait and see!

Cherokee

This is a tribute to our dog, Cherokee. We think that he is probably in his last stage of life. He is a gigantic 8 year old, 100 lb. Alaskan Malamute and his hips are going out. The vet said that there is nothing we can do and his size is the biggest problem. He told us that he is the biggest Malamute he has ever seen in all his years working as a vet! He also has a big cyst on his side that can only be surgically removed. He was our first baby. Andy and I got him the year before we were married. Once you have kids and life gets busy, the animals sort of take a seat on the back burner.

It's just sad because we're just watching him slowly go downhill. I have a feeling that sooner rather than later, we'll have to come to some sort of decision.
