Anna and Grace's mom had told me that the girls usually have a hard time getting their picture taken, especially at a studio. Apparently in the past, the girls have cried during their sessions. I was so happy that I was able to get such cute photos of these adorable little ones!

Happy Birthday Andy!

Today is my husband's birthday so we celebrated with a nice family day at his parent's place. This morning we were discussing how long we've known each other and realized that it has been 10 years... 10 years! We first met when I was 20 and he was 22. That's just so crazy to me, we seemed so young. We had fun recapping our last decade together and hope for another wonderful decade to come!

Here is one of my favorite pictures of him. This was taken the day (literally hours after) that I got my Canon 20D, my first DSLR on August 6, 2005. I still love this shot to this day. There aren't many pictures I can say that about from when I first started!

Myles

Myles has some exciting news! He's expecting a new baby brother in February! I first shot Myles back in April and shortly after, Kari scheduled her late October appointment. It seemed like just yesterday when I saw them and then she told me the good news!

It's official.

Gulp. I quit my job! Yeah... for those of you that didn't know, besides being a mom and having a booming photography business, I worked for Ameriprise Financial part-time. I've been working there for 8 years now (been working in downtown Minnepolis for 10 years). A short while ago, things in my life were so crazy that I had to take a leave of absence. I was supposed to go back next week and the thought of it completely stressed me out. I decided to put my resignation in and give this photography thing my all! Not to mention, after being home with the boys for some time now, I couldn't possibly leave them. There is no amount of money in the world that could change that!

So yes, it's going to be a big change, but this is a very good thing and I just know things will work out. What I won't miss is my 3 hour round trip daily commute to work! I must say, I will miss the downtown skyway shopping though! Bye Target and babyGap! I'll miss you...
