My mission: To capture a photo of "the kids" for Sheila's husband for Father's Day (belated). Well, I should mention that one of the "kids" is a St. Bernard the size of a small horse! I first shot these guys last year for Christmas cards and wow has Griffin grown! He's 11 months old now, crawling all over the place and talking up a storm. He was quite entertaining and poor Harley just wanted to be left alone.
Love this one!
I am so in love with this picture, I think it's the funniest thing!
Chicken dance?
Big 'ol Harley in his favorite spot, the bathroom floor.
Love this pic too!

Exciting and new!
My husband just called me at work asking me, "How the hell did you get up this morning?" The reason was, he got up at 3 am to use the bathroom last night and I was still up working! Sadly, I have grown accustomed to 3 hours of sleep a night (is that really considered sleep, or a nap?). After the growing demand for bookings and less and less time with my family, I have hopefully discovered a solution. I have just learned about a great outsourcing company for all of my editing. I'm not officially signed up yet but I am definitely interested and it sounds like a great solution for me. A lot of wedding pros that I know outsource which only makes sense as logically, we're photographers not color correctors. So, I am very excited to see how this goes. I hope to have much faster turnaround times, more time with my kids, and definitely more sleep! I am really just excited for the possibility of a change.
Again, I want to thank everyone for being so patient with my extended timelines. I never expected to be so successful and I'm growing as a business and as a person. When I first started and got a couple of family bookings, I thought- hey, this is nice, I'll have a couple of sessions a month and make some extra grocery money. These days, I am booking almost every single free day that I have. With the studio opening soon, I anticipate bookings to increase, especially this fall. Other goals that I want to accomplish in the near future are wedding album design (including a custom album included with my top package), custom engagement albums/guestbooks, and custom photo greeting cards, invitations, birth announcements. Wish me luck and success with the exciting new products and changes to come!

Amber and Dennis
I shot Dennis and Amber's engagement photos today at Minnehaha Falls. They are getting married this September in Hudson, WI. I was excited to finally shoot them as we have had a couple of reschedules over the past months. It was a really fun shoot and they were up for anything, despite the heat. It ended up being a beautiful evening, especially when we caught a breeze. It was great working with you guys!

Gina and Patrick
What a wedding! This day was truly a photographer's dream. This was the perfect classic wedding that every girl dreams of! Gina and Patrick decided not see each other before the ceremony which can be challenging picture-wise, but the moment she walked down the aisle, it couldn't have happened any other way. I couldn't help but tear up as she walked toward Patrick as the choir sang and 500 of their closest friends and family looked on. I will never forget it. The entire day ran seamlessly and was completely perfect. Gina and Patrick were so calm and happy and just took it all in, really enjoying all of their hard work and planning.
Gorgeous or what?!?!

They arranged for everyone to gather on the stairs after the ceremony for a group picture:

Spectacular view from the 50th floor:
These girls so were unbeliveably cute all day long!

I love this shot:
After having nothing but a huge smile on her face all day long, Gina finally shed a few tears during the first dance. It was so sweet!
I wish they would have booked more hours because I could have photographed them all day long! They were so fantastic and easy-going. After such a perfect day, their new life continues with a fabulous honeymoon in the West Indies.
